Harmony wishes for me to post some detailed comments on it.

Connie,

If I have read them, it's been so long that I don't remember anything about them. From reading the descriptions on Wikipedia, they don't seem like they would be that inappropriate. But, it is Wikipedia, and it is just a summary. And you are the parent, not me.

But I would beseech thee to preview them soon, for your son's sake! They seem like books I would've wanted to read when I was younger.JunkMalehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02619673168896233941noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37491865.post-17724766225078008212008-08-12T00:44:00.000-04:002008-08-12T00:44:00.000-04:00Have either of you read the Dinotopia books? The librarian said they may have been placed in that section because of profanity or adult situations. Other than that, she didn't know anything about them. I've been meaning to read them before he gets his hands on them, but he's getting anxious and I haven't even started on the first one yet!Smockity Frockshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15922037293905396736noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37491865.post-81445453106498680942008-08-11T21:49:00.000-04:002008-08-11T21:49:00.000-04:00Sounds like we need to add Understood Betsy to our...Sounds like we need to add Understood Betsy to our list! I'll have to look that one up.

I'm anxious to hear your thoughts on Brave New World. I haven't read this one, but I keep meaning to.

I'm reading my first Jack London book right now. Well, I'm actually listening to it, but I still consider that reading of a sort. It's The Valley of the Moon. I don't think it's considered a classic like The Call of the Wild, but I'm enjoying it immensely.

I'm really enjoying reading your book reviews and updates!Anne Marie@Married to the Empirehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16600919522369171555noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37491865.post-31101241896626750072008-08-11T09:41:00.000-04:002008-08-11T09:41:00.000-04:00We LOVE Understood Betsy, too!We LOVE Understood Betsy, too!Smockity Frockshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15922037293905396736noreply@blogger.com
