I hea...I'm surprised you never heard it before. I heard it many times growing up & as an adult. The only thing I did not know was that there were 2 theories of what it meant. I only had heard the second one. I also thought it was Loch Norman, since we lived in Charlotte, for some reason I thought that Lake Norman was named after it. I guess we sang it in elementary school music classes.
