I came home yesterday and wanted to see how Harmony's seedlings were doing. I bent down to inspect them closely and was met with the smell of which I can only describe as vodka. Not being well versed in drinking, I now assess that it is probably just an alcohol smell, not limited to vodka.

I googled "peat pot fermentation" and there seem to be a lot of mentions of whisky.
