(Hopefully) Interesting Book on the Way
This past weekend, whilst Harmony was busy at a gathering of a gaggle of gals, I was at Borders, shopping for a birthday present for Harmony's dad. I saw a number of interesting books which I thought about buying for him, but then realized that these were books that I knew I would find interesting, but who knows whether he would? So I made up in my mind that I would search Amazon for one of these books later.
The book to which I refer is The Myth of a Christian Nation: How the Quest for Political Power is Destroying the Church. I've had this line of thought swimming around in my head for a while now, but never mustered up effort to organize them into a blog post. Perhaps after reading this book, I'll have something of substance to say. I bought a used hardcover via Amazon's marketplace, and its previous owner is in Georgia, so hopefully I'll have it soon.
