Scaredy-Dog

i'm really afraid of mommy's bread machine. it makes these strange clicking noises. whenever mommy or daddy puts something in there, i put my tail way down and ask them to pick me up. i start to shiver too.

does anyone else have a doggy who is afraid of a bread machine? or any pets that are afraid of the bread machine like i am? i could use a support group.

Though I am vastly superior to you, in all ways, I will condescend to associate with you out of pity for your species. I am a cat. My name is Willy and I am not afraid of anything. However, I do disappear instantly when my slave insists on using that infernal vacuum. And, my outrage causes me to stay under the plant stand in the basement for hours until I know she has put that thing away. The shivering, drooling, and dilated pupils, which my slave insists indicates extreme fright, is actually extreme annoyance. So, anyway, by way of comforting you, you beast, I must say, There, there. I'm sure your master/mistress will give you a piece of bread if you look sufficiently cute, or whatever they call it these days. So, take comfort in that thought and get cracking at whatever it is that you do. I have important napping to attend to. Ta-ta!

    Your superior,

    Willy

P.S. No, I did not type this. My slave did. Don't even TRY to tell me that YOU typed your post. Tsk! Tsk!

I was hoping you would get Luna to post something!

Sorry, Luna. My boys are only afraid of the vacuum cleaner, aka The Scary Loud Machine. Well, Doogie is also afraid of loud sneezes, coughs, new people, cars, his carrier...

If we had a bread machine, he might be afraid of it!

Luna cannot respond herself, as she is too busy chewing on a bone, but she would like to add that "Dirt Devil" is a fitting name for a vacuum cleaner. Specifically the "Devil" part.
