What is that?

Earlier tonight, Pearl pointed to a spot on my skin where she had gouged me last week and said, clear as can be, "What is that?"

To which I replied, "That's a cut."

She looked at my cut, pointed at it, looked at me with a very serious expression and said, "That's a but."
